Material development within the building industry is slow at best, but over the last 25 years glazing has moved ahead in leaps and bounds.

We have installed double glazed units that are 6 x 3 metres, curved double glazing, floors that you can drive over, glass sides for swimming pools, glass that switches from opaque to clear and bullet proof glazing.

Different types of glass have been developed to keep expensive energy in and the sun’s heat out and all double glazed units now have the air purged from inside them and replaced with Argon gas, which further increases their insulation value.

It is all about making the glass work efficiently, utilising its inherent strength and exploiting its intrinsic beauty.
